She made history by desegregating her school at age 14. She became the 1st African American female to sell television for WRAL-TV. After a move to FOX-TV she was promoted to General Sales Manager (her team broke all sales records) generating over $260 million in sales. She had an enormous impact on a generation of industry leaders.
